Khalil Ahmed Bajwa

Holds Engineering Degree from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.

Started his career in Provincial Civil Service Punjab in 1994.

Joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 2002.

Held diplomatic assignments in various Pakistan Missions abroad, including:
Ankara - Turkey (3rd Secretary/2nd Secretary) – 2005 to 2009
Bradford - United Kingdom (1st Secretary/Consul) – 2013 to 2016
Ashgabat - Turkmenistan (Counsellor/Charge d’ Affaires a.i.) – 2016 to 2021

Served at the Headquarters in different capacities as Director General (HQs & Finance), Director General (Policy Planning & Public Diplomacy), Director General (Africa), Director (Consular Affairs) and Deputy Chief of Protocol, Camp Office, Lahore.

Fluent in Turkish language.

Married having two sons and a daughter.

Assumed the charge of Consul General of Pakistan, Toronto in May 2023.
