General Requirements
- Applicants planning to visit Attestation Office in Toronto need to book an appointment prior to their visit for Attestation / Legalisation of the documents.
- Executant has to visit Consulate personally and must sign the Power of Attorney in front of the concerned official.
- Original documents along with an additional set of photocopies.
- Original and valid Pakistani ID (Passport or CNIC / NICOP of the executants) as well as their photocopies.
- Copy of CNIC/NICOP/POC of the person (Attorney) to whom the Power of Attorney is being given.
- Two Passport size coloured photographs of the executant with white background taken within last three months.Photograph of the executant (person giving the power of attorney) must be pasted on the Power of Attorney beside his/her signature.
- Power of Attorney by a minor would only be attested on production of a Guardianship Certificate issued by a court.
- The Consulate General only attests signature(s) of the executant(s) and does not take any responsibility for the contents or authenticity of the contents of the Power of Attorney.

Fee
C$20 is charged for the first three (3) continuous pages of a single document. Subsequent additional pages are charged @ C$ 20 per page.Fee is non-refundable.
Note:
The applicants are required to pay consular fee through Debit Card at the relevant counter or Bank Draft in the name of the Consulate General of Pakistan.
